The online freelance marketplace goLance is now a member of RippleNet. But will goLance utilize the XRP-powered xRapid?

CEO Michael Brooks mentioned the company’s partnership with Ripple at the 2019 American Business Awards, and the company’s website now highlights Ripple as one of its payment integrations.

In addition, a LinkedIn post from software development company and goLance partner Paralect says goLance is using Ripple to enable fast and secure cross-border payment solutions via a digital asset. The news set off a wave of speculation that goLance is integrating XRP.

A total of 27 companies have been confirmed to be using XRP either as a way to accept payment or to power international remittances.

Out of those 27, a total of 13 companies are adopting Ripple’s payment software xRapid, which is designed to utilize XRP to move value across borders. The list includes the first bank to adopt xRapid. Euro Exim Bank says it plans to use the technology to power payments across 80 countries.

In addition to the early xRapid adopters, 14 companies are utilizing the digital asset XRP as a form of payment or to boost their own platforms that move value from one location to another.
