Binance-Powered App Launches Beta, Brings 1 Million Flights and Hotel Bookings to Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC) and Binance Coin (BNB)

The TravelbyBit beta app is now live. It allows consumers to book flights and hotels with Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC) and Binance Coin (BNB). The platform is powered by Binance Chain and is designed to enable users to travel the world using crypto with a network that reaches over one million flights and hotels.

Binance invested in the Australian startup last October, betting on CEO Caleb Yeoh who had already onboarded local merchants at the Brisbane airport to accept cryptocurrencies as a payment option.

Says Caleb,

“As an avid kitesurfer, I’ve traveled to destinations all around the globe, hunting for the best wind and kiting conditions. I spent a lot of transit time at airports and the exchange rate robbery that happens in these locations is shocking. The fees and inconvenience in dealing with multiple currencies when in transit is a nightmare. Imagine if you can travel all around the world with one truly global currency with no fees. That’s what TravelbyBit and Binance are working towards?—?digital currency for global payments.”
